A MYTH, not based on any evidence, emerged in the 16th century to the effect that both wives of Tancred de Hauteville were daughters of Richard I Duke of Normandy[2]

Also changed her b. date ... Richard I d. Nov 996, so for the Myth to have any chance of being plausible, she had to have been b. by Aug 997 ...
Again, per Cawley in MedLands AND the disclaimer at the top of this Bio, she was the disputed dau. of Richard I, Duc de Normandie .. the profile had her father as Richard II rather than Richard I and I've corrected this too ... since her parentage is still suspect, I will also set this father as "Uncertain" ....
Cawley in MedLands tells us her name was FRESSENDA and that her dau. was FREDESENDE ... profile had this backwards and I have corrected this ...

Also, since there are no viable sources for her parentage, I've set the father shown as Uncertain ...

Working on completing this (Hauteville) line.
