Biography
George Norman was born on 25 May 1841 in St Neots, Huntingdonshire, England[1], the son of Martha Page and John Norman.
At the time of the 1841 Census, he was recorded living at Brook Side, St Neots.[2]
George migrated from England with his family in 1849 on the "Duke of Roxburgh"[3]. George worked as a gardener and caretaker[4].
He married Christian Kilpatrick on 3 December 1865 in Sandridge, Victoria.[5] Their children were:

- Christian Norman (1868-1871)
- Eleanor Norman (1870-1954)
- Isabella Christian Norman (1873-1929)
- George William Arthur Norman (1877-1948)
- Martha Page Norman (1880-1953)

- Walter Benjamin Norman (1889-1955)
George died on 9 August 1929 in Bairnsdale, Victoria[6].
