Biography
Sally O'Neil (Noonan) Battles was born in New Jersey.
American Actress of the 1920's using the name Sally O'Neil. She started in vaudeville and went on to silent film acting. From the 1930's to the 1950's, she was acting on stage and touring with the USO.
Daughter of Thomas Noonan & Hannah Kelly. Her father was a judge and her mother had been a singer at the Metropolitan Opera. Two of Sally's sisters were also actresses, Molly O'Day & Isabelle.
Sally married Stewart Battles in 1953.
