William Nobles is a Military Veteran.
Served in the American Civil War

William Nobles was born May 18, 1837 to Richard Nobles and Alice Post in Autauga, Alabama.

He served the Confederate States of America during the Civil War in the 21st Alabama Infantry. [1]

He married Sarah E. Gray on March 28, 1850 in Autauga, Alabama. [2] Their children were:

  1. Mary Ann Nobles 1855–1934 [3]
  2. Martha Sarah Nobles 1860–1951[4]
  3. James Pleasent Nobles 1866–1946
  4. William Nobles, Jr. 1868–1908[5]
  5. George Richard Nobles [6]
  6. Joseph Johnson Nobles 1873–1946[7]

He died, at the age of 70, on February 17, 1908 in Coosa River, Alabama. He is buried at the Coosa River Cemetery, Coosa River, Elmore County, Alabama.[8]
