Thomas Luther Nixon was born about October 9, 1885 in Lancaster, Smith, Tennessee, United States, son of William Harrison Nixon (1851–1920) and Martha Elizabeth Roberts (1854–1898).^[1][2]

Thomas died on September 18, 1932 in Monterey, Putnam, Tennessee, aged about 46.^{[3] [4]}
