Biography

Iver Nilsen Brekke was born in Orsta and baptized on 20 Feb 1791.[1][2]
In the 1801 census Iver Nielsen, age 10, lived at Brekke in Volda.[3]
Iver married Ane Martha Olsdtratter Rekkedal on 2 Jul 1820 in Hjørundfjord.[4] Their children were:
- Oline Iversdatter (1821–1917)
- Nils Iversen (1824–1914)
- Ole Ananias Iversen (1828–1913)
- Ragnhild Iversdatter (1834–1920)
In the 1865 census Iver Nielsen, age 75, was listed as a widower in the household of his son Niels Iversen at Rekedal in Hjørundfjord.[5]
In the 1875 census Iver Nielssen lived at Rekkedal in Hjørundfjord.[6]
Iver died on 23 Feb 1876 in Hjørundfjord.[7]
