Biography

I was born in North Platte Nebraska, my this was in 1968, My mom and dad had just split as a young couple and my Mom ran off to my Great Grandmas in Nebraska with my older brother, She stayed there until I was born. She then moved to Yakima Washington where her other siblings and mother were. I was raised in Yakima with some back and forth to Nebraska for short stays while growing up. I graduated from AC Davis High School in 1986, and promptly joined the Army. I went off to Ft. McClelland AL and became a Military Police Officer. My first duty assignment was in Germany where I met my wife Monika Geyer, we were wed in 1989, had our first and last children in 1991 Matthew and Jeffery Niles (twins) I got out of active duty in 1996, started working for the state of washington, Joined the Washington Army National Guard in 1997, Did Ten years, and two deployments. Retired from the Guard in 2007 on Nov 1 as a gift to my Boys on their 15th Birthday. Still working for the state 26 yrs later, still married to my spouse 33 yrs later.

Congratulations on certifying to work on pre-1700 profiles! It’s very important to read and understand the Pre-1700 Profiles page. These profiles for deep ancestors are shared by many, and collaborating on them works best if we all follow the guidelines in the certification quiz.

Primary sources should always be added to pre-1700 profiles at the time they are created. If you don't have a source for a pre-1700 profile, it would be best to ask for help in the G2G forum before creating the profile.
