Biography
Elizabeth was born in 1815. She passed away in 1902. According to the 1900 census, Elizabetha was living with her grandson, Jacob Miller. She could read and write in English, but spoke only German. She gave birth to 7 children, 2 of which were still living in 1900. Her grand daughter, Gladys Kummer Troyan, remembers visiting her and and calling her "Kuentzi Grossmater". Although unsourced I received detailed information on the Kuentz family from a family member who has done extensive research. Additional children of Karl and Elizabetha Kuentz are Elizabetha Katharina, b. 1841, m. Michael Dieter, d. 1921, and Margaretha, b 24 August 1844, m. Michael Asmus, d. 1875.
