Annie Frances Nicholson was born on the 18th February 1886, in Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia, the second eldest child, second daughter of English-born Stephen Nicholson Jr and Australian-born Emilie Ann Nickisson.[1]
Annie Frances Nicholson passed away on the 15th April 1886, in Milton, New South Wales, Australia, aged not quite two months old,[2] and was interred in the Church of England Pioneer Cemetery, Milton.[3]Sadly, any original marker stone was removed by the Anglican church prior to their sale of the land on which the cemetery stood. Thanks to the new owners of the property, a small brass plaque placed in the south-eastern corner of the site now bears Annie's name and date of death.
