Edmond was born about 1840, probably in Knockanore. He was the son of Allen Nicholson
Edmond Nicholson married Mary Meaney on 19 Feb 1870 in Knockanore, Co. Waterford. Edmond was 30, a servant of Coolbeggan, son of Allen (a tailor). Mary was of Harrowhill, daughter of John Meaney (a labourer). Witnesses were Cornelius Nicholson and Julia Hurtin - which Julia?[1]
