Hello Richard, glad to hear you got it sorted out :)
Hi Richard

Not sure if you are related or not? How about letting me look at your tree to see if I can find a relationship.

Congratulations, you've been a WikiTree member for a month! We're glad you're here. A few tips to help you dive in even deeper

Check out Beyond the Basics of WikiTree for a guide on some of our more advanced features such as Projects, Categories, and Merging.

We're very active on our social sites and we have an excellent blog where you'll find our monthly newsletter as well as tips, interviews with our members and guest posts from others in the genealogy community.

And we're always looking for volunteers to assist in different ways.

Hi

Now that you have had a little time to try WikiTree, there are a few more features you may find useful.

Ideas on what to include in a profile can be found in Styles and Standards, including some tips on writing biographies.

If you need to describe an event, an heirloom or a location relevant to your research, you may like to learn about Free Space Profiles.

Lastly, sometimes you'll run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a process for resolving those unfortunate situations.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask via my profile page.

Hi Richard,

It does show that Mary Barogar was created through the import of your GEDCOM. However, if she is not in your family and you don't want to manage her profile all you have to do is click the Privacy tab at the top of her page. Scroll down and you'll see yourself listed as a Profile Manager. Below that is a link to Remove Yourself. Click that and it will take you off her profile. Thanks! Let me know if you have any more questions.

Thank you for joining WikiTree. As a WikiTree Mentor I am available to answer any questions or help solve any issues you may be having.

How To Use WikiTree is a good starting point and the Help Index is an important place to find out how to do most tasks.

Do you have Royal Ancestors? They are already here on Wikitree! Rather than create duplicate profiles for them, please contact the EuroAristo Project to discuss connecting your family line to their profiles.

Feel free to ask me via my profile page if you have any questions.

Have you read the message below?

There is also a Help Index on the top right side of your profile that could be of some help.

I noticed you uploaded a GEDCOM. Here's a link to a great step-by-step of our

GEDCOM import process including screenshots that you might find helpful. You might also want to check out our GEDCOMS.

Please keep in mind that our primary vision is to build a collaborative tree with just one profile per person, so please make sure to look for duplicates on WikiTree before adding a profile.

Feel free to contact me if you have any questions!
