Biography

Emma "Rebecca "Newman (married name Dixon) was born around 1834, the daughter of Ann Newman (nee Woods) and James Newman.^[1]

She married William Dixon in 1857 in Victoria, Australia.^[2] Their children were:

• Louisa Ann Dixon (1861–1951)^[3]
• Mrs H. Musgrove^[3]
• Edward Hooper Dixon (1866–1890)^[4]

Emma died on 3 February 1912 in Keilor, Victoria, aged 78.^[1][3]
