New-1144 and New-181 appear to represent the same person because: They are both husbands of the same woman with the same name and birth dates are near enough that they appear to be the same person

New-1144 and New-181 do not represent the same person because: The death dates are 20 years apart and birth years are 2 years apart. Could be cousins and the error is the wife being attached to the wrong person.

The death dates between New 181 and New 1144 are 20 years apart. I am not comfortable merging these two at this time.

Find a grave has John Foster New in Gilboa Cemetery in Indiana with 1842 as death date. Also, a book on the NEW family by Clarence New written in the 50's or 60's shows that date.

Hi, do you have any sources for the 1842 death? Sarah Elizabeth Wright married two men with exact same name - on same day.... so something is amiss here.... thanks!

New-1144 and New-181 do not represent the same person because: Death dates are far to different.

New-1144 and New-181 appear to represent the same person because: same name, exact same spouse (https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Wright-4965), birth date exactly 2 years apart (typo?),
