Biography
Marmaduke Neville was born on the feast day of Saints Simon and Jude, the 28th of October 1506 from a manuscript in the Ashmolean Museum giving the dates of birth of all Richard Neville, Lord Latimer's children. [1]
Marmaduke was borne of Symone & Judes day, being Wensday Ao Dni Ml vc vj.
He was the son of Richard Neville and Anne Stafford. The couple had another son the following year who they also named Marmaduke, which likely indicates that this individual died as a baby. The second child named Marmaduke Neville survived to become an adult.
