Birth

Samuel A. Nelson was born at Livermore, Maine, on 10 Dec 1830, the son of Alexander Nelson and Elizabeth "Betsey" (Griffeth) Nelson.^[1][2]

Marriage

Samuel A. Nelson married Lucy Ellen Alden.^[3][4][5] On 25 Nov 1860, Samuel A. Turner of Livermore and Lucy E. Alden of Turner published at Livermore their intention to marry.^[6] Lucy Ellen Nelson's FindAGrave memoral, citing no source, says that they married on 27 Dec 1860.^[7]

Death

Samuel A. Nelson died on 25 Apr 1898.^[2] The death record of Samuel A. Nelson, son of Alexander Nelson and Elizabeth Griffith, shows that he died at Livermore, Maine, on 25 Apr 1898, aged 67 years, 11 months, and 15 days,^[8] A gravestone at the Lakeside Cemetery in Livermore, Maine, says that he died on 25 April 1898 at the age of 67.^[5]
