Sarah (Neill) Chinnery was born in Ireland.

Sarah Johnston Neill (married name Chinnery) was born on 30 January 1887 at 51 Upper Townsend Street, Belfast, Ireland, the daughter of Mary Jane (Jones) Neill and Robert Neill (Insurance Agent).^{[1] [2]}

On 31 March 1901 County Down born Robert James Neill (45) Black Smith, County Antrim born wife Mary Jane Neill (45) Housekeeper with Belfast born children Mary Jane Neill (25) Housekeeper, Adams Neill (23) Apprentice Isabella Neill (21) Reeler, Ellen Neill (19) Flax Reeler, John Neill (15), Sarah Neill (13) School Girl, James Neill (11), William Neill (8) and Agnes Neill (2) all Presbyterian, lived in Mountcollyer Road, Duncairn Ward (Belfast), Antrim, Ireland. ^[3]

On 2 April 1911 Robert Neill (38) and sister Sara Johnston Neill (23), both born in Belfast and Dental Anaesthetists, lived in 63 Buckingham St, Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, England. ^[4]

She married Ernest William Pearson Chinnery on 17 April 1919 in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, England.^{[5] [6]}

Their children were:

• Sheila Margaret Chinnery (1922– 2020)^[7]
• At least one more daughter, as Margaret was termed the eldest daughter in her wedding notice^[8]

Sarah died in 1970 in Sandringham, Victoria, Australia, aged 83 years.^[9]
