Biography
Pvt Duran H Nealey served in the United States Civil War.

Pvt. Duran H. Nealey was born 18 February 1843, Burlington, Iowa to Mathew W. Nealey (1806-1890) and Harriet Wolverton (1825-1896).[1]
At the age of 18, Duran enlisted with the Union Army on 22 August 1862. He was mustered into Company D, 25th Regiment, Iowa Infantry on 12 September 1862.[2][3]
He died at Camp Sherman, Mississippi on 19 September 1863 of Typhoid Fever. He was buried in an unknown grave in the Vicksburg National Cemetery.
