Biography

Lester was born in 1908. He was the son of Robert Neal and Cynthia Park. He passed away in 1992.

Obituary

Service for Lester P. Neal, 84, will be at 11 a.m. today at St. Mary's Presentation Catholic Church in Deer Park followed by burial at Riverside Memorial Park. Mr. Neal, who died Monday, was born in Wilbur, Wash. He was a cattle rancher and taught diesel mechanics at Spokane Community College during World War II. He later was a logging foreman for Deer Park Pine Industries and also worked for the Department of Natural Resources. He retired in the late 1970s. His first wife, Rosemary Neal, died in 1970. He married Mildred Wolfe in 1971. Mr. Neal was a member of the Roman Catholic Church. Survivors, include his wife, at the home; three sons, Jerry Neal of Spokane, Terry Neal of Lake Stevens, Wash., and Denny Neal of Riverside, Calif.; a daughter, Noreen Poole of Lake Stevens; two sisters, Dorothy Burcey of Spokane and Ethelyn Brebner of Seattle; 16 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
