Wish you a Happy New Year. May 2018 bring you all you need to be happy.

Congratulation for adding your contributions in December. Whatever the quantity of your contributions, they all count. As I always say "Quality is better than quantity" to make a great family tree.

Thank you for being a Wikitreer,

Thank you Jay for completing the merge.

Merry Christmas

Hi Jay, you added Sarah Chambers as a spouse for Osborne-5005. She is the same person as Sarah Hanes Hanes-410

She married James Chambers about 1848.

Hello Jay, you've added Elizabeth Carr as a spouse of Hooker-1242, could you please let me know when he would have married her?

Sorry Jay, I confused your reply about a person with the name of Cross, when in fact, you were talking about a CARTER. The Carters were also from Cornwall. My great, great grandfather was the Mayor of Falmouth from 1884-1886.

Thank you Jay for your recent post about the person with the surname Cross. I am interested in the Cross ancestors who came from Cornwall; one of whom, William Cross, was captain of a very fast tea clipper out of Falmouth, Cornwall, England in the fairly late 1800's. He was my great grandfather.

Hi Jay,

Congratulations on being Pre-1700 certified! Project participation is strongly encouraged.

Start by thinking about the particular time periods, locations, and topics in which you're interested. Do you have some historically-significant ancestors? Take a look at the list of active projects for examples of what we have going on. I'm here to help you find one that best fits your needs.

If you see one that's just right, go ahead and join. Otherwise, let me know what you're looking for and I'll see what I can find.

Hi Jay,

You’ve been here about a week now so I thought I’d check in with you to see how it’s going. Is the How-Tos helping?

Thank you for volunteering. You are now a full member of WikiTree.

Start with the New Member How-To Pages - they are really useful as you add profiles and learn your way around:

Let me know if you require assistance. I am happy to help. After adding my own family and ancestors I have found many cousins and distant ancestors here on WikiTree.
