Biography
Albert de Namur was born in about 1110 and was the son of Godefroi de Namur, Comte de Namur and Ermesinde de Luxembourg. [1]
Albert was noted in a charter of 7 Jan 1125 in which Godefridus comes Namucensis et Ermensindis comitissa donated property to the abbey of Floreffe with the consent of filiis suis Alberto et Heinrico… - indicating that Albert was alive as of that date and was likely to have been the couple's eldest son. Albert was not reflected in a charter of 1131 - suggesting that he had died sometime between 1125-1131. [1]
