Biography
Arthur was born in 1900. His father was Henry Nalley. In 1900, the family was living in Marion County, Kentucky. The household included Arthur and his widowed father plus a brother, Charles, and their grandmother, Katie Nalley.[1]
Arthur registered for the WWI draft in Louisville, Kentucky in 1918.[2] He was working as a grocery clerk at the Quaker Maid Grocery Company in Louisville at the time. He described himself as short and slender with brown eyes and light brown hair. He listed his father as his nearest relative.
By 1920, Arthur was still single and living with his father in Louisville. It was just the two of them in the home.[3] Arthur was a chaffeur for a delivery truck business, and his father was a house carpenter.
Arthur married Mrytle Eva Fisher Baer sometime after the 1920 census.
Arthur passed away in 1976. Burial was in the Forest Lawn Cemetery in Seattle, King County, Washington.[4]
