Biography

Wesley Myers is a part of US Black heritage.

Wesley was born in 1912 in Georgia. He was the son of Cooper Myers and Daisy Bailey. ^[1] In 1920 he was living with his parents and siblings in Camden County, Georgia.^[2]

Wesley served in the U.S. Army during World War II from 1942 to 1945.^[3]

In 1950 he was living with wife Helen, a son and his sister Ludie in Louisville, Kentucky.^[4]

He passed away in 1999 in Louisville, Kentucky. He was survived by his wife, a daughter and son. He was buried in Evergreen Cemetery in Louisville.^[5][6][7]
