• The death occurred last night of Mr. Thomas Joseph Murphy of 122 Buck

Street. North Broken Hill at the age of 61 years: The late Mr. Murphy was a resident of Broken Hill for the past 35 years,and he worked along the line of lode as a miner. His last place of employment was the North Mine 20years ago when he was placed on compensation.He was always a staunch unionist being a member of the old AMA and the WIU of A. He is survived by a widow and two sons, Jack and Alec. The funeral will take place on Saturday at a time to be advertised. Norman Woodman is making the funeral arrangements .
