Biography

Alfred D. Mourey was born on 1 April 1862 at Pennsylvania, USA.^[1] He appeared on the census of 9 Aug. 1870 in the household of his parents, Henry S. Mourey and Adeline (Baxter) Mourey, at Farmington Township, Tioga Co., Pennsylvania.^[2] He appeared on the census of 7 June 1880 in the household of his parents at Nelson, Tioga Co.^[3]

He married Grace B. Campbell, daughter of Joseph D. Campbell and Dollie V. (Bottom) Campbell, on 15 Oct. 1884.^[1]

Alfred died on 28 July 1885 at Nelson, Tioga Co., Pennsylvania,^[1] at age 23 and was buried in at Mourey Cemetery, Farmington Township.^[1] His daughter Pearl was born four months after his death in November 1885.
