Sir Geoffrey de Mortimer was the son of Roger Mortimer and Matilda "Maud" Braose. He had six brothers and two sisters.[1][2]
Sir Geoffrey de Mortimer died before 1282, and was buried at Wigmore Abbey[3]
Dugdale Monasticon VI concerning Wigmore Abbey: “Radulphum primogenitum…Edmundum…Rogerum dominum de Chirke, Galfridum militem…et Willielmum militem” as sons of “domina Matilda…[et] Rogero de Mortuomari”, adding that Geoffrey predeceased his father and was buried at Wigmore."[4][5]
