Biography
William was born in Loch Lomond, Nova Scotia in 1845. He is the son of Allan Morrison and Christy Ross. He was a merchant living in St. Peters, NS in 1870 when he married Catherine Grant in River Inhabitants. After Catherine's death in 1873, William remarried to Marian MacLellan in Port Hastings in 1874. In 1881 they are living in what is now Cleveland, NS, with five children in the household. William died in 1906 and is buried in Grantville Cemetery, Richmond Co,, NS.
