Biography

Harley Morris is a part of US Black heritage.

Harley was born in 1922 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. ^[1] He was the son of Wesley Vernon Morris and Helen Grace Williams. In 1930 Harley was living with his mother in the household of his maternal grandmother in Minneapolis. His parents had divorced.^[2]

Harley served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a TEC5 ^[3]from Jan 1942 to Dec 1945.

Harley was married to Beverly Joyce Burton. They had at least one child together, born in 1957.^[4]

He was a widower when he passed away in 2009 in a Veterans' Home in Minneapolis. He was buried in Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis. ^[5]
