Bill was born on August 10, 1909. He lived with his parents, sister, and 6 brothers in Ohio.[1][2][3]
He married Marie Linkenhoker in 1936.[4] They had two daughters and moved to Virginia.[5]
Marie passed away in 1981. In 1985, Bill married Lucy Crouch McDaniel, who had also been widowed a few years prior.[6]
Bill died on March 28, 1999, and is buried with his first wife in Fincastle, Virginia.[7]
