Mayflower Passengers - The Mayflower, in American colonial history, was ship that carried the Pilgrims from England to Plymouth, Massachusetts, where they established the first permanent New England colony in 1620.
Magna Carta Surety Barons - The Magna Carta was signed in June 1215 between 25 barons of Medieval England and King John. ‘Magna Carta’ is Latin and means “Great Charter”. The Magna Carta was one of the most important documents of Medieval England. It was signed (by royal seal) between the feudal barons and King John at Runnymede near Windsor Castle. The document was a series of written promises between the king and his subjects that he, the king, would govern England and deal with its people according to the customs of feudal law. Magna Carta was an attempt by the barons to stop a king – in this case John – abusing his power with the people of England suffering.
Salem Witch Trials - The infamous Salem witch trials began February 1692, after a group of young girls in Salem Village, Massachusetts, claimed to be possessed by the devil and accused several local women of witchcraft.

Send me a private message and let me know where and how you would like to help.
Goal: Every project profile will have an accurate, written biography, with inline citations, using primary sources and reliable secondary sources.
I hope that you will be eager to contribute towards this goal starting with the family of your ancestor, Thomas Rogers. Please send me a private message and let me know your thoughts? Once I know you are interested in helping, I will send you an invitation to join the Mayflower Google group. When you accept the invitation, we will be on our way.
We are indeed 10th cousins 1x removed through Joseph Rogers. I have added you to my WikiCousins Space Page. I always love meeting new cousins!

Congratulations on being Pre-1700 certified! Now it's time to pick a project that best fits the pre-1700 profiles you'll be working on.
Is there a particular time period, location, or topic you're interested in? Do you have some historically-significant ancestors? Look at the list of active projects to see if one fits your needs.
Once you find a project that interests you, visit their project page for more information and to find out how to join. You can also use the Following link to add the project tag to your profile, and you'll be kept up to date on any activity that occurs for that project.
Can't find what you're looking for? Let me know, and I can make some suggestions! :-)

PS. Thanks for the work you're doing to grow and prune our family tree. It looks like you're in the middle of a serious merging session. We appreciate it!
You've probably been hard at work adding family members and getting connected to those that are already here. You should have at least a few profiles that you manage now. So, this week we're going to look at how to work with your Watchlist: How to Manage Your Watchlist.
As always, your questions are welcome!
