I hope things work out for you. I have helped a few persons who were searching for answers. A second cousin we didn't know about contacted me a few years ago. She didn't know who her father is either. She connected with my father and a great aunt's DNA that I manage on Ancestry. I was able to narrow down the likely family she is from. Now she is close to making the final conclusion and has had some assistance from closer biological relatives. Ancestry is about the best site for this sort of thing. The biggest downsize is that often people join to test their DNA and drop membership as it is expensive to continue.
