• "(Daniel) Morgan had two daughters, the elder, Nancy, married Col. Presley Neville, and the other Betsey, who married Maj. James Heard, both Revolutionary soldiers" ^[1]

• "Betsy and Nancy, the children of General Morgan, were born at 'Saratoga.' The latter married Colonel Pressley Neville. Both had families, and a great granddaughter of Mrs. Neville married the late Admiral Robley D. Evans." ^[2]

• Betty and James Heard were married, date unknown ^{[3] [4]}

• Betty Morgan Heard died in 1813 at Russellville, KY ^{[citation needed]}

Daniel fell in love with Abigail Curry; they married and had two daughters, Nancy and Betsy.
