Biography

Charlotte was born in 1853. Her parents were George Morgan and Sarah Dix.^[1] She was christened on 4 June 1854 at Kingswood Near Bristol, Gloucester^[2]

In 1861 Charlotte lived with her parents and siblings at Kingswood Near Bristol, Gloucester.^[3]

In 1871 she was still at her parents home. The family now lived at Made For Ever. Oldland, Bitton. Somerset. Charlotte had a seven month old son, Walter Thomas Morgan. ^[4]

Charlotte married William Hargate in 1873 at Wakefield, Yorkshire,^[5] They had eleven children.

In 1881 and 1891 Charlotte and William lived with their children at Normanton, Yorkshire. William worked as a coal miner. ^[6][7]

The family moved to Blackpool, Lancashire. They were at 4 Eccleston Road, Blackpool, Lancashire when the 1901 census was taken. William was working as a labourer in a brick yard. ^[8]

Charlotte passed away in Blackpool in 1903. She was 50 years old.^[9]
