Harriet (age 80) died on 16 December 1928[6] and was buried on 19 December 1928 in Greenwood.[7]

Research Notes

  • her middle name appears to be Albertine; it was written on her daughter Lulu's death certificate (possibly written as a surname, but the other children's death certificates show Moore).[8] And in a 1913 newspaper article, she was referenced as "Harriet Albertine Boyd" by the reporter covering her husband's dinner speech.[9]
