Hi

I’ve not heard back from you regarding the US Southern Colonies Project check-in so have gone ahead and removed you from the project for now. However, if you’d like to rejoin at any stage you would be most welcome to do so by answering the G2G sign-up post here.

Many thanks,

Mary, Membership Coordinator, US Southern Colonies Project

Terry--

I sent you a check-in message a week -10 days ago about the US Southern Colonies Project to ask you about your continued involvement but have not yet heard back from you. Do you still want to be in the project?

If I don’t hear from you by the same time next week I’ll assume that you’ve moved on to other things but you’re most welcome to re-join the project at any time.

Hoping to hear from you,

Best wishes,

Mary, Membership Coordinator, US Southern Colonies Project

Hi Terry,

It is that time again.

This is the semi-annual polling for the US Southern Colonies Project. This check-in with members is to see if you have been active in the last six months in this project and want to remain a member of US SC? Activity might be similar to the below activities in June check in.

Please note that it is a requirement for membership in the US Southern Colonies Project that you respond to these check-ins.

I look forward to hearing from you.. Many thanks,

Mary, Project Coordinator, - Membership US Southern Colonies Project

Thanks for showing Scotland as one of your interests. If you haven’t yet done so, you are welcome to join the Scotland project via the G-2-G topic. The Project runs the Tartan Trail which encourages those new(er) to Scottish research to get to grips with Scottish sources. There is a wee bit of a wait as each person “hiking the trail” is allocated a mentor to assist and encourage them.

I hope you get a great deal of pleasure collaborating with colleagues in this great project. If you have any questions or wish any advice either send me a private message or email me.

Hi again, Terry,

Welcome to the Jamestown Team. This is the team page for the lead in page of Jamestown Colony. Please go to the team page to add your ancestor you are researching here. Also please read the pages for this Colony.

https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:Jamestown,_Virginia_Colony The first page is composed of the categories and the sources to help you prove your ancestor landed at Jamestown. It is long, but full of data. If you need help with proving your ancestor came here, just ask me.

Hi Terry,

I see that you just did the Pre-1700 Self-Certification. That's great! Is there a particular time period, location, or topic you're interested in? Maybe you have some historically-significant ancestors? Let me know. I can help you figure out if there's a project and introduce you to the project leaders.

Please change your privacy level to "Private with Public Family Tree" to allow your Y-DNA results to be associated with your direct paternal line.

Thanks and sincerely, Peter

I see where you have uploaded your DNA for comparison. Did you know we have a project for DNA where a lot of great new things are happening? If you are interested and would like to check it out, go to the FIND link top right of your profile page, select PROJECTS from the drop down box, and then select the link for the DNA project. It has information listed that might be of interest to you, and feel free to contact any of the members if you would like additional details.
