Thanks for showing Scotland as one of your interests. If you haven’t yet done so, you are welcome to join the Scotland project via the G-2-G topic. The Project runs the Tartan Trail which encourages those new(er) to Scottish research to get to grips with Scottish sources. There is a wee bit of a wait as each person “hiking the trail” is allocated a mentor to assist and encourage them.

I hope you get a great deal of pleasure collaborating with colleagues in this great project. If you have any questions or wish any advice either send me a private message or email me.

I see that you just did the Pre-1700 Self-Certification. That's great! Is there a particular time period, location, or topic you're interested in? Maybe you have some historically-significant ancestors? Let me know. I can help you figure out if there's a project and introduce you to the project leaders.

Please change your privacy level to "Private with Public Family Tree" to allow your Y-DNA results to be associated with your direct paternal line.

If you are interested and would like to check it out, go to the FIND link top right of your profile page, select PROJECTS from the drop down box, and then select the link for the DNA project. It has information listed that might be of interest to you, and feel free to contact any of the members if you would like additional details.
