The Visitation of Oxfordshire suggests that William Sheppard's wife was a daughter of More of Whitchurch in the county of Buckinghamshire.[1] The pedigree for the Moore family of North Aston elaborates further and names William's wife as Ann, the daughter of William Moore alias Meridith of North Aston. [2]
Ann married William Sheppard on 16 November 1570 in Aston North, Oxfordshire, England.[3]
Ann was buried on 10 July 1618 in Rollright Great, Oxfordshire, England.[4] The register noted that she was the wife of Mr William Sheppard the elder.
