I have been trying to compile some form of a family tree for a while now and I get so caught up in it. I find it incredibly exciting just to read the names of my ancestors - or even better - learn a little about their lives, and I want to leave as much information for my descendants that are interested as well.
I am all over the place as a person, filled with many contradictions. I am passionate about way too many things and so have a hard time making choices!
Some (a very few) specific interests: Music and concerts, though I’ve tried to learn every instrument but never felt quite good enough. Going to shows whether it’s broadway, comedy, or some other form of live entertainment. Home Depot has a pretty special place in my heart. The green gardens, alluring lighting section, the smell of wood, and getting a Dearborn hot dog being just some of the reasons why. Art & creation. I love to draw and paint though it’s not a talent of mine, but love doing anything crafty, sewing, cross stitching, etc. I’ve recently started some higher level gardening and am trying to better myself at growing & nurturing my plants, as well as attempting to grow my own food. I’m a bit of a writer with many projects finished but tucked away or half finished something-or-others. Animals! I’m a huge dog lover and unfortunately my dog of 16 years recently passed away so it’s something I’m learning to live with. Most importantly, being an aunt to my niece and two nephews who are my best friends and who make my life so full.
