Biography

He was given the name of John Arthur Henry Moore at birth. He was educated at Addiscombe Military Academy, Addiscombe, Surrey, England.
In 1866 his name was legally changed to John Arthur Henry Moore-Brabazon.
He gained the rank of Major in the service of the Bengal Staff Corps. He held the office of High Sheriff of County Louth in 1872. He gained the rank of Honory Lieutenant-Colonel. He lived at Tara House, County Meath, Ireland. He lived at Tallyallen, County Louth, Ireland. The Peerage
The date of birth of 13 June, 1928 given in The Peerage, referenced from Burke's Peerage, would appear to be incorrect as the official record states 19 July, 1928, although 13th June is on his gravestone in Highgate Cemetery.

John Arthur H Moore-Brabazon passed away at Kensington, London, England in 1908 and is buried with Major John Arthur Moore in Highgate Cemetery (see photo of grave under Major John Arthur Moore).[3]
