In 1940 Jeff and Winnie are living on East Haig Street in precinct 28, Plateau, Mobile County, Alabama and their daughter Izzie is with them.[6] East Haig is the next Street North of and parrallel to Petain Street.
Jeff died 02 Apr 1948[1] in Bastrop, Louisiana.[3] He is buried in Causey Cemetery in Bastrop.[1]
