Biography

The daughter of William Joseph Moody and Jane Cousins (Green) Moody, Ann Moody was born in Battle Creek, Michigan^{[citation needed]} in 1909, residing there with her family.^[1][2]

Ann married Harry Rudyard Roe, the son of Henry Roe, Jr. and Ida E. Hensinger, marrying in Tecumseh, Michigan on August 10, 1929^{[citation needed]} and making their home together in Detroit, Michigan, where her husband worked for a wholesale lumber company as a salesman.^[3] By 1940, Harry Roe worked for the electric utility company, working as an electrical engineer.^[4] By 1950, Ann worked at an advertising agency, doing clerical work.^[5]

Widowed in 1956. Mabel remarried, marrying David Bryden Clark, the son of Walter Clark and Marian Bryden. They retired to Tucson, Arizona, where Ann Clark away ^[6] at the age of 85. She is buried at East Lawn Palms Cemetery and Mortuary in Tucson.^[7]
