Benjamin served in the 3rd U.S. Colored Infantry during the Civil War.[1]
Benjamin married Addie J Cheney on 12 August 1878 in Concord, New Hampshire, United States.[2]
In the 1880 census Benjamin (age 43), Farmer, was the married head of household in Manchester, Hillsborough, New Hampshire, United States. Wife Addilade, one child.[3]
Prior to 1890 Benjamin married Mary Pelletier. [4]
In the 1900 census Benjamin (age 62), Junk Dealer, was the married head of household in Manchester Ward 3, Hillsborough, New Hampshire. Wife Mary, 4 children.[5]
Benjamin died on 28 August 1914 and was buried in Pine Grove Cemetery, Manchester, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire, United States.[6]
