John was born in 1852. He married Samantha Boggs in 1874, Loretta Kline in 1884 and Harriet Surls in 1907. He passed away in 1914.

Manuel Montgomery
John marriage to Samanatha Boggs ended between 1880 and 1883, John Howe Montgomery traveled west looking for land to make a new home for his family. He returned to discovered that Samantha’s father had John declared dead and Samantha had married James Hall (29 Nov 1883). John returned to Iowa and married Loretta E. Kline and started a new family. John never returned to KY.
