Daughters of the American Revolution
Samuel Montgomery is a DAR Patriot Ancestor, A079067.

Samuel married Jane Spry (1764-1846).

During the Revolutionary War he was a soldier in General Marion's Brigade and he furnished supplies.[1]

His will dated 29 Jun "in the year of our Lord and 42 of American Independence" was record in Sumter County Will Book 12 Nov 1819. It names wife Jane, three eldest sons Isaac, William, and John; four youngest sons John, James, Samuel, and Henry; youngest daughter Letitia; and daughters Rachel Plowden and Jane Plowden.
