Karen Weinkauf, 72, Crosslake, died Monday, September 29, 2008, at her home.
Services were held Thursday, October 2, at Crosslake Lutheran Church in Crosslake.
Karen Patricia Weinkauf was born January 3, 1936, in Minneapolis to John and Dorothy (Wiltsey) Moller. She attended high school in South St. Paul and entered Hamlin University where she earned her degree as a registered nurse. She worked for the Veterans Administration Hospital in St. Cloud, serving as an RN until her 70th birthday. She first lived in St. Cloud, then moved to St. Joseph in 1969. She moved to her home in Crosslake in 1999. Karen was a member of Crosslake Lutheran Church.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Arthur L. Hathaway in 1969; father, John Moller; eldest son, Lance A. Hathaway; sister, Gail; uncles, Don and Marvin Wiltsey; and aunt, Ruth Sevren.
