Biography

Clarissa was born in 1826, the daughter of Henry Mitchell and Sarah Gould.

She married William Hunt Jr at Patten, Maine on 10 Oct 1844. They were the parents of five known children:

• Mary E Hunt b. 3 Sep 1845 at Crosby Plantation, Maine, d. 25 Apr 1812 at Sherman, Maine
• Martha Jane Hunt b. 15 Feb 1847 at Sherman, d. 20 Mar 1922 at Millinocket, Maine
• Ellen 'Ella' Hunt b. 1849, Penobscot, Maine, d. 7 Jun 1853 at Maine
• Ella Hunt b. 1857, Maine, d. 1 Feb 1879
• Otis M Hunt b. 1864 at Sherman, d. 1931
