Biography

Edith Miles is believed to have been born in England in 1896. She was the daughter of Douglas Thomas Miles who was deceased by the time Edith was married in 1919.

Her birth was registered in the Woolwich district in 1896 ^[1]

John Bachli married Edith Miles at Bath in England, on the 6th of February 1919. They had at least one son Douglas William Bachli who went on to win the British Amateur Golf Championship, in 1954.

Edith Bachli, daughter of Douglas Thomas Miles and Annie Harvey, died in October 1979.^[3]. And she was laid to rest at the Cheltenham Memorial Cemetery, Cheltenham in Victoria Australia.
