Biography
Jane was born in 1815.[1] Her last name was Miles.[2] She may have been the daughter of William Miles (Miles-11694) who married Jane Hayes on 15 Jan 1812.[3][4]
Jane married Joseph Thomas Harlow, a farmer,[5] on April 6, 1841. Their six children were born in North Queens Co., NS between 1843 and 1858.[6] Five of their children were living with them in Caledonia, Queens Co. NS in 1861, according to the Canadian census of that year.[7]
Jane may have been the woman who died 26 Nov 1866 and was buried under the name "Mrs. J.T. Harlow" in the Maple Grove Cemetery in Kempt, N.S.[8]
