Biography
Eleanor Merrow, the daughter of Henry Merrow and Jane (Linders) (Wallis) Merrow was born at Reading, MA in 1675.
She married first about 1695 Nathaniel Meader, the son of John Meader and Abigail (Follett) Meader. They had five children before he was killed by Indians on 25 Apr. 1704 at Oyster River NH.[1]
She married second John Leighton, son of Thomas Leighton II and Elizabeth (Nutter) Leighton. They had no children together, though John had 5 children by his first wife Sarah (Thomas, John, James, Sarah, and Lydia).

Merrow-10 and Meader-38 appear to be the same person because: Same spouse and same marriage date. Meader-38 provides no other info other than spouse and marriage date. John Leighton was married twice, to Sarah Cromwell (probably) and Eleanor Merrow.
