Is this profile for Jerome Meldrum b. 1931? If so, he seems to have passed away in 2012. I noticed you didn't have a death date on the profile so I just wanted to make sure you knew - especially as you are no longer the PM for his siblings.

Jerome (Jerry) W. Meldrum, age 81, of Cheboygan, passed away Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012 at Cheboygan Hospice House, surrounded by family and friends.

The son of the late Jerome A. and Ella (Conklin) was born March 4, 1931 in New Baltimore, Mich. Jerry served in the U.S. Army in the Korean War. After being honorably discharged, he worked in construction doing masonry work. Jerry married Mable Ayotte on Oct. 28. He also enjoyed farming, and loved to fish.

Surviving are his son, Jay (Bonnie) of Cheboygan; a stepdaughter, Beverly Russell, of Cheboygan; four grandchildren, Wendy (Jeff) Pattison, Scott (Missy) Russell, Jayson (Michele) Meldrum, and Tanya Meldrum (Mike); and six great-grandchildren, Cody and Kyle Pattison, Noah and Zoie Russell, and Jada and Hunter Meldrum.

Jerry was preceded in death by his wife, Mable, in 2004; a brother, Pat; two sisters, Jin Bertrand and Ruth Eschenburg.

Cremation arrangements have been made at Hentkowski Funeral Home; a private burial of his ashes will be held at a later date. The family requests memorial contributions be given to the Cheboygan Hospice House.
