Biography
Born in Florence on 5 July 1537, Garzia was the son of Cosimo I Medici and his wife, Eleonora Toledo. He died of malaria aged 13 at Pisa in the same epidemic that took his mother, Eleanor and his brother, Giovanni. [1] [2]
