I'm a descendant of Benjamin Bennett Medders b 1809 NC d1899 Appling County, GA. I share 3rd and 4th cousins DNA with several descendants of the Meadors/Meadows line of Anson, NC but haven't found the tie.Benjamin B lost his father before 1817 when his mother traveled with family to Appling County, GA. One tradition has the mother to have been born a Valentine and another that she remarried to a Smith or a Deen.
